Privacy
This page explains, in plain language, how Razi Tax Mate handles your data.
What is processed
Information you type, paste, or upload into the AI Analyzer (income figures, categories, uploaded PDFs, images, or text files) is processed entirely by JavaScript running in your own browser — PDF text extraction and image OCR both happen on-device. Nothing you enter or upload is transmitted to a server as part of running the analysis.
What is stored
A short history of past analyses (return type, date, score, issue count) and your filing-checklist progress are saved in your browser's local storage only, so they're available if you return to this browser. This data is not transmitted to us.
What is not stored
We do not ask for or store passwords, OTPs, PINs, IRIS login credentials, or banking credentials. Never enter these into Razi Tax Mate or any site other than the official FBR system.
Cookies and analytics
Razi Tax Mate does not set tracking cookies. If analytics are added in the future, this section will be updated to describe exactly what's collected.
Third-party services
The diagnostic analysis itself runs locally in your browser and does not send your tax data to any external AI API. Reading uploaded PDFs and running on-device OCR for images uses open-source libraries (pdf.js and Tesseract.js) loaded from a public content delivery network; the document you upload is processed locally and is not sent to that CDN. If a hosted AI assistant is connected in the future, this section will be updated to document exactly what data is sent and how it's protected.
Your rights and data deletion
You can clear your locally stored analysis history and checklist progress at any time using the Clear My Data button on the AI Analyzer page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Security practices
See our Disclaimer and the security notes on the Analyzer page for more on what we never ask for.
